Dropped by Monash Uni just right across the road away from my college yesterday afternoon. Was initially shocked at what I saw. 3 cars of police personnel with some 30 policemen surrounding a group of students right in front of the Monash entry door. I was wondering what happened, almost thought that maybe some freak wanna blow up the ang-moh-dominated Uni. We wouldn’t know right? The hatred between the West and the East. Well, to be frank, I was kinda freaked out by the scene, with flashes of riffles around and grenades. Another thought then came flashed by, perhaps some gun-shooting within the college?
Just when I was about to fall into my deep thought, suddenly there came a girl shouting my name, and that was my girl calling upon. My thoughts broken. Didn’t really know about what had happened till I saw the news today.
That’s not the Chin Huat of college. Turns out to be another Chin Huat, political analyst who is now teaching in Monash. Great, now the world less one smart-ass Chin Huat already.
