Sunway Pyramid. Entrance. Just finished late night movie, Angels & Demons. A great movie indeed, full of mysterious scene with the involvement of Christianity. I’m a big fan of Dan Brown, and find myself continue to be it. Been worrying the whole night about transport back to college. Though Pyramid is just a stone throw away from my hostel, I just couldn’t take the risk of walking back, especially bringing a girl along. The stakes were too high. We all know the security of our own country. Foreigners were passing back thru and forth around the roads. No. I’m not gonna take it.
Me : Sunway College berapa?
Taxi Driver : RM 7.
Me : RM 5 la. Biasa pun macam tu.
Taxi Driver : Tambi, sekarang pukul 1.30am la! Itu rate petang.
The taxi driver was so fucking rude that I didn’t really want to ride on it. But I have no choice. The surroundings were so quiet that a mere sound of farting can be heard easily. It’s expensive for a mere 200m ride to be charged RM 7. I was so disgruntled, yet holding back my emotion I opened the door for her.
Let’s get back as soon as possible. I said.
Damn those authorities for not taking action against these rude and greedy taxi drivers. What are the meters mounted for whereby each and everyone of us are overly-charged? One day our country image shall be damaged by all these taxi drivers, to an extend that repairs are simply irreparable.

I was searching for any site on where I can report rude taxi drivers in Malaysia when I saw this. Overcharging is always experience by us foreigners in Malaysia. This is not new to us. What is more rude that I cannot accept happened just yesterday (17/06/12). My friends and I went for a spa at pullman hotel. After the spa, we craved for food so we went to the nearest mall which is Alamanda (by bus). After eating and buying some stuffs for home and as we got tired, we decided to go back home. Then there were two taxis at the stand… since we are 5, we thought that it’s good because normally taxi will not accommodate 5 person in one taxi. The first batch (3 persons) went with the first taxi after all negotiation done from RM20 to RM18. We also negotiated from RM20 to RM18 since our destination is just until D’Melor (outside gate… fyi RM20 if you want inside – no choice if you are carrying a lot!!!!). Taxi driver agreed but a family of 5 (including 2 infants) said “YES” to the price of RM20 rm. The driver turned again to us (me and my friend) and said he wanted RM20. Then we said it’s RM18 because we will just be dropped outside D’melor. Driver turned his back on us and said he will take the other passengers as they agreed for RM20. Even if I don’t want to curse people, what will you do with this kind of human (or is he still human)??!!! HWC 7746 – I want to slap the ugly driver of this taxi!!!!
