It began as another moral assignment but ended as a charitable outing.

A day that I will never forget.

It was fun, meaningful, awesome, and syiok!

We went to meet this bunch of refugees who were placed under the protection of United Nation to fulfill some moral obligation. It wasn’t far away from our college, just a lil mere 10 minutes drive away.

We stepped inside for the first time, surprised to see everyone (well, almost) was gathering inside the main hall awaiting for our presence.

It did take a while to break the barrier between us but as time went by, the familiarity warmed up and we began to accept each other presence, in which I, personally enjoyed it.

We had a plan, but as usual la it remained as an unrealised plan. We had an ice-breaking session with the kids around, played a few games like musical chairs, passing snacks around, and even had a chicken dance. It wasn’t something much of a variety but yet I was pretty much glad that the kids enjoyed our presence cheering them up.

Chicken dance was undoubtedly the hit of the day. The kids and teens were dancing around, waving their hands and ass along the tune. It was amazing to see that something as simple as this can bring cheer to the kids around.

…and we ended our day with a group picture. :)
