We had this awesome plan of touring KL bersempena dengan Hari Raya Aidilfitri! A plan which quite still stays as a plan.

I’ve spent the whole Friday night planning our tour, churning out every possible juice inside my brain to think of a place in KL vincity worth a visit.

At the end of the day, I realised something which I haven’t noticed this important fact about KL.

The only cool factor of KL.

We wanted something like a budget travelling, to keep the spending low as I sincerely don’t believe in spinning more money for the sake of happiness. Budget travelling sounds cool! It was something more as a challenge to survive under budget in KL, but the enjoyment and satisfaction come from within, and to be fair, I was really satisfied that day.

We didn’t start well that morning though. One of my friend ffk-ed us at the very last minute, it was somehow a big disappoinement before we even began our road trip. :(

Staying positive was difficult! The sky looked bleak, thick cloud formed above us and thunders struck! It rained cats and dogs right after we turned into the junction towards Titiwangsa Lake. Picnic was our first agenda, but all hell broke loose when the roads were flooded with the heavy rain. Oh gosh, I could barely smile looking at the weather out there.

We headed to Jalan Pudu for breakfast. Plain wantan mee at one of the mamak for me. Time to fill up the hungry stomach!

Our next destination was the landmark of KL, Petrosains was something we wanted to explore, and it has been long since I last entered it! I stepped into fourth floor only to be greeted with the sign,

Selamat Hari Raya and we will be back on Wednesday!

Sucks man. Sucks big time. It was only 10 at the morning and we were running out places to go! Something, shits happen. :(
