Lunch @ Opulent Court, Pearl Point International Hotel was last week, when my mum gave me a sudden call to head for a Dim Sum buffet around Old Klang Road. It caught me off guard dim sum for lunch? And yea, it’s been long since I tasted food other than fried rice, fried rice, mixed rice with the normal toppings.

Picked me up at hostel and 25 minutes later, we were inside the posh restaurant along with uncle and family. Appearance of Pearl Point was an understatement for its inside beauty, and though it has been lingering in KL area for years, I’m very surprised as it’ still able to fight of strong challenges by the booming hotels around and continue to draw an amicably crowd for its survival.

We didn’t waste a single second inside the restaurant, as soon as we settled down, orders began to fire around. There’s no time to lose! When it comes to buffet, there has to be competition! Typical Malaysian’s kiasu ma!

Their porridge was awesome. The smooth bit of gluten embodied with aroma of sanctuary egg and pieces of meats mixed well to form a great sensation inside the mouth. Making it one of the best porridge I ever tasted. And most importantly, it didn’t form a pulp like most of the porridge do.

This was some sort of herbs that served as a dessert on the day itself. It looked ugly, but as the saying goes, never judge a book by its cover! It tasted great when served in cold, the strong smell of herbs stimulated the taste bud and it is believed to have some meditative effect on our body health!

And not forgetting those dim sum. There were over 100++ types of dim sum for you to choose from!
