Jon, Jun Hoong, Darsh, Sydney & Me dropped by Kajang for a brief visit after the nite out with some of the college mates. And you definitely can’t miss Kajang Satay if you ever pass by this small, secluded town, 20mins drive away from the city centre. Everyone was eager for lunch that time, we haven’t had our breakfast yet, I brought them to the well-known satay corner right beside the Kajang Municipal Football field, Haji Samuri Kajang Satay.

This place was wayyyyy overrated. It was once one of the best Kajang Satay, but I think the brisk business deteriorates its business a lot. The operator took it so complacently…

Had coconut drink to cure the heat. It was scorching hot & KL once peaked at 39′c! Anyways, M’sia’s coconuts suck big time. Couldn’t taste a damn sweetness & it was so small. Thailand’s coconuts are fortehwin.

The kuah that comes with the satays. Best when served hot. I think I finished the whole thing by drinking it instead of dipping satays (cause it sucked).

The Chicken & Beef Satays we ordered. It was cold & hard. The Chicken Satays had a lot of fats while the beef tasted a tad better. But overrall it wasn’t up to my expectation at all, any Tom, Dick & Harry can cook such satays. Nothing special, nothing to huu haah about.

Wanted to order Rabbit Satays, but I think we chickened out at the very last minute. lol!

Anyways, will be back for Kajang Satays, but definitely not this one!
