The famous Khoo Kongsi is the grandest clan temple in the country. It is also one of the city’s major historic attraction. One of the not-to-be-missed landmark, it was the first time I set my foot in this heritage sites. With tickets priced RM 5/person, it’s definitely worth a visit.

The weather was kind to me that day. Full-blown clear skies with the clouds forming the background. Awesome day.

Khoo clan was and still is one of the most powerful family in Penang. One of the prominent Khoo family is Dr. Koh Tsu Koon, the previous Chief Minister of Penang. They family spans more than 10th generations apart. Big bigggg family indeed.

That day was Dumpling Festival as well! So they had this Chinese Opera Soap played by locals to make some offerings to the god.
