That’s me playing Jason Mraz for the kids at Trinity Home. Just look at how indulged was Paul (guy in red) into my singing. It’s just plain waste that I took accountancy course.
Jokes aside. It was yet another Trinity Home visit with the SAC family last Friday nite. Weekly Trinity Home visit is fast becoming something to look forward to every week after intense studying & packed schedule. It’s inspiring in a way, although I must admit I’ve not been a great brother-cum-teacher, the appreciation showed by the kids is somewhat satisfying. My ‘pre-assigned’ kid is Peter, a notoriously naughty kid there!
It’s amazing to know how simple is their world. After all this while of growing up, I’m caught in between the realms of reality. The fact that growing old is inevitable hurts me, growing up may be optional, but being branded childish is no fun at all. It’s insulting, to me it is.
Still, I accept the fact that I’m growing up, ready to show that I’m capable of shouldering more responsibilities as time goes by. And it’s exactly the reason why I love going Trinity Home, it reminds me the fact that I was called a ‘brother/teacher’, comes with a heavy responsibility.
Enjoy your weekend peeps! As much as I did with my ‘tong sui’ here at SS2 after the visit!
