I joined this hostel committee thingy a few months back, thinking it was a really noble act to be involved in the newly-established committee. I offerred my help to this group of people with the aim of improving the lives of hostelites. Our condition there was not as pathetic as thought, but there’re rooms of improvements.

It kinda went smoothly for me at first. I attended the meeting, offered some of my opinions, offered my help for them, and some consultations as well on what to do. But slowly the steam boiled down somehow and communication between me and the higher level broke down. I went on for a month long break and since then, never heard anything from them. No SMS, no emails, nothing.

And so I assume everything fell apart. We have a plan but nothing came out of it.

Till one day I couldn’t hold on but to contact the vice-president moments ago, in which she seriously pissed me off with her way of talking to a volunteer who offered his help sincerely.

I was just asking how’s going with the committee since there’s virtually no news from them at all.

‘Why don’t you come to the meeting instead of keep asking me everything?!’

And that was in a pretty rude tone. I was so furious that I kept asking her what mistakes that I did till the extend that I deserved such a cold treatment from her. And it was all because I didn’t attend meetings, in which I didn’t even know about it.

‘You can leave if you want to.’

Since she offered me this option, I’m serious considering it.

Heck, I offered to help without any condition. Seriously, what’s going on with the world nowadays?

I have been visiting the dentist 3 times for the past 4 days, and frankly, that wasn’t a good sign indeed. At the height of these H1N1, visiting dentist for treatment is something stupid but be rest assured that I didn’t go for the wrong doctor. I ain’t infected any H1N1 but was about to put on braces for myself. I’ve been contemplating this option for long, taking into consideration of a lot of factors before finally decided that I need the braces for god sake.

My teeth wasn’t aligned and it kinda looked ugly under some circumstances no thanks to my thumb-sucking routine till I was Standard 3. You heard me and yea, I’m very much embarrassed to admit that I actually sucked my thumb till that late. And that’s why Immigration always hold me for thumb-print, simply because I have no thumb print on my right thumb! My saliva actually dissolved it!

And so Mrs.Kee decided that it’s gonna be the time to get on a braces. It’s a very big thingy in my opinion as it involves teeth extracting, injections, and bending etc! But in real, it actually got worse than what I had expected.

Two consecutive days I had 4 teeth of mine brutally extracted by the dentist using one hell of a farking big spanar. It was so horror that I couldn’t sleep, for what I will always picture him with his farking big spanar and starts taking out my teeth. Frankly, it wasn’t a great experience to me. I was injected 12 farking times of injections to make my lips numb. I wasn’t paranoid to injections till that, and that was real pain in the ass.

Thinking of it simply makes me shiver.

But I’m glad that I made it without dropping a single tear. Though now I’m really afraid to see the dentist.

Braces in Sunday. omgwtf!

Just got to know that Malaysia government has decided to postpone Akon Freedom Beach Party that was scheduled to be held on the 2nd of July, this coming Thursday at Sunway Lagoon due to so-called ‘unforeseen circumstances’.

After I did a search, I found out that Chivas, an alcoholic brand was specifically blamed for this postponement as Akon is a born Muslim, and the government does not advocate drinking especially for Muslims. They are going to give free T-Shirts for concert-goer because being a topless guy in a beach party is pure wrong.

Earlier, Datuk Mohammad Mohammad Daud, deputy secretary-general of the Information, Communications and Culture Ministry held a closed-door meeting with the show promoter over the ministry’s concern that a prominent liquor brand was the official sponsor for Akon, who was born a Muslim.

“We expect every show promoter in this country to abide by our rules and regulations,” said Mohammad Daud. “We have not relaxed our restrictions on cigarette and liquor sponsorship for public events like concerts.”

The concert promoter for Akon has given an assurance that it would adhere to the ministry’s rules. “With the new date, we’ve managed to find a new sponsor,” said the spokesman.

“We’re also planning to give out T-shirts to concert goers who do not observe the dress code. It may be a beach party, but we do not want people to be skimpily dressed.”

Frankly, I think our country are nowhere to success if this kind of third-world mentality continues to linger within our authorities. This mind set will forever be third world if we’re going to worry about the F word being said in a 18+ movie or rate a movie 18SX because they lip kissed. If we’re going to make this a damn multi-racial country and expect me to respect your culture, please respect mine too.

Now that I’m being forced to online at campus. Being watched by girls around makes me feel much uncomfortable.

2. Great. Now Malaysia has their very own local version of Influenza A, or more commonly known as Babi flu. I offer my sympathy to those pigs. Not that they have done something wrong, but being blamed for the outbreak of the latest flu is just plain a nerd excuse by human to put the blames on pigs. They blame the Orang Hutan for HIV, they blame the chickens for Bird Flu, now they blame the pigs for the Babi Flu. So what comes next? They will blame whatever animals for the flu that they contacted. Poor piggies.

Oh hell, I was having flu for the past few days. I have Babi flu. Good. Liow Tiong Lai will come and quarantine me, my friends will be quarantined, my lecturers will be quarantined, all will be quarantined.

3. Please ask those politicians to stop playing their hide-and-seek game. I’m getting fed-up by the scene of ugly politics. Helooooo! We have Babi Flu now, worse economic recession looming, and yet you all still have time to drag the speakers here and there?

Satisfied that the long reformatting process had ended, in a quick act I restarted the whole thing. And the next thing I know, I was scolding vulgar non-stop for like 15mins?

Not that my laptop was swarmed by porn, but the fact that I forgot to backup all the damn drivers’ files! Now that I can’t use wifi, lan access, my laptop is something like a bird without wings, a man without a dick! It’s virtually useless, worthless, and I can’t do a damn thing about it. No a single one.

Looking at my rather useless laptop, all my weekend’s plan to watch movie/series/video/gaming have to be canceled. I have no choice but to accept the fact that I have more things to look forward to. I can’t possibly blame all at the damn laptop whereby life is definitely more than just a laptop.

A brighter side to look forward to: Model shooting at PC fair tomorrow!

Been attending to my studies needs lately, and there’s often sacrificial to do. Therefore no updates from my blog, I apologize.

Often, we look for inspiration. Never know that inspiration stems right from inside our heart. I was exhausted by phenomenon surrounding me, tiring, with no room to breathe. I’m not suffering, just plain tired whereby I have no more sympathy on anything, anyone. I was too focused on particulars, details, and often, I missed out a lot of things, a lot.

Studies are too overrated nowadays, everyone is judged thru their results, rather than personality. I can’t help but to follow the flow of current, worked hard to achieve results. I really worked hard, but then, not everything will be paid back in the same value. The world is never fair, never.

I sighed. Sighed twice. I enjoice life, but did I really enjoy it to the fullest? I don’t know.

But soon, I will.

Yet, Facebook remains an important device for interaction between human. I was hooked up to Facebook lately, it’s fun to check upon friends’ updates & status. Even better to arguing around pictures posted. Facebook is cool, fun, and definitely one of the best social networking site available.

I took up one of those so-called ‘accurate’ personality quiz moments ago. And seriously, I agree nothing!

Others see you as someone they should “handle with care.” You’re seen as vain, self-centered, and who is extremely dominant. Others may admire you, wishing they could be more like you, but don’t always trust you, hesitating to become too deeply involved with you.

Well, I ain’t vain, not I’m self-centered. Dominant? Perhaps.

And friends…DON’T YOU TRUST ME?

I sense that, as the classes scheduled for the so-called ‘EXAM-DRIVEN COURSE’ are so damn packed that we virtually have only 30 minutes lunch break. Long enough for me to stuff everything inside my mouth without proper digestion.

The worst yet to come today, as I will have to endure suffering time tomorrow, facing one of the suckiest lecturer I ever seen. I dare to tell, because this is the truth, the truth that everyone knows, yet the truth that no one admits it. Her class is always clouded by gloomy face, followed by grinning smile. There is never motivation from her, instead, scolding comes after scolding. Messy handwriting, etc. Fingers crossed that I will be able to contain my emotion tomorrow.

Seriously, the timing is counter-productive. Students are forced to stay inside a freezing room, with everyone on their jackets, some even come with gloves as though going on a winter trip. The long hours are not healthy for knowledge absorption obviously, I was in such a headache just now that my nerves started to meddle around with each other. *Phew…*

I should not rant. I know. But I just can’t contain myself after seeing me trapping into this kind of scenario where everything is so exam-oriented. It’s all about passing exam all the time, and very highly unlikely that we are being exposed to real life situation. This is not what I expected after experiencing the same thing during high school. Not at all!

But I shall not regret. Life is short. There’s no time to look backwards. Perhaps, I should set my mind forward, and fight to the finish.

Sometimes, I just wonder have our country evolved into a barbarian place where every bits of dissatisfaction must be brought to the road?

Supposedly a free weekend spending time with my family and friends some quality time, instead, all my energy was drained by the problem of importing my previous blog records, files back to the new server.

I did a transfer from US hosting back to local hosting, after receiving numerous complaints by the readers about the inaccessibility. The transition was smooth, within a few days, my site was migrated back to Malaysia, after being granted ‘Permanent Resident’ status here.

Nevertheless, after the migration I started to do the backup stuff, hoping to put back the site on as soon as possible. I foresee big problem ahead, as error pop up about the failure to upload my backup files. I tried and tried and tried, but to no avail.

My previous files gone, posts, comments, links…*POOF* all gone in a blink of an eye. I apologize, to anyone affected, though it’s most likely to be me myself.

Grant me the space to sob unconsciously, alone, quietly…
