Since we were so tired, and our place was virtually isolated (private beach), the whole family actually decided to hang out inside the beach resort. It was fun to go search around hidden places, see chics sun-tanning themselves on the sands. I brought along my zoom lens, the super zoom typo! But just didn’t have enough courage to snap them with her beside me. Not yet. Just not yet.

And I settled landscaping photography instead.

Scenery around

I must credit whoever that did the landscaping job at the beach. Everything was so beautifully put into place and carefully decorated that they really brought out the ‘beach feeling’ out of me.

Basically I was just walking around sight seeing along with her. Feels great to have your companion around and together we toured beside the beach. Holding hands, sun shining upon us, sea breeze greeted us. It’s just so damn romantic while she lies on your shoulder along the way.:D

When the night fell, stars were scattered all over the tiny-veiled sky, and it was perfect for a date. She was looking at me as far as I remember, and her eyes were telling me something. She was expecting something from me. Some quote. Some words from the bottom of my heart. And all I did was…

to sing ‘twinkle twinkle little star’. I know. I screwed it. I know.

Redang here I come!

Knowing that I would love to record every single moment of the trip, I brought along 3 camera bodies, my Nikon D90, Her Canon 350D, and one point and shoot (PnS) camera. Holding lenses such as 15mm f/2.8, 28-105 f/2.8, 70-210mm, practically I had every range covered. First time trying fisheye 15mm f/2.8, and I got poisoned instantly! Seriously it is very good for landscape/scenery photography, and mostly of the pictures I took using the fisheye lens. Added to my wish list now!

Scenery there was breathtaking! And these photos that I took? Heck, they are just understatement of the real thing!

What Say U?

I showered my sun-tanned body in a bed of white sand, sea breeze gushing through my hair. Moments later, I jumped into the clear blue sea, waving through swamps of fishes, they surrounded me as though a sign of welcoming me to this beautiful island. Everything seemed to good to be true, pinched myself as hard as I can. Heck, it’s a reality!

For god sake I wish I could have just stayed there forever instead of mesmerizing everything here through pictures.

Astonishing? Ain't it?

Somehow, I think I left my heart and my soul there.

A special note to my friend JY who is currently on vacation to UK:

There ain’t any bikini babes here at Redang, but at least I did my job by bringing a super zoom lens there to capture.  But heck, I spot one of the best babes there! Flirted with her and she is seriously hawt!
